Beef, American cheese, creamy Thousand Island sauce, and crunchy onion strings top the latest creation from the lightning-fast sandwich maker.
Marketed as "not your ordinary sandwich," the All-American Beefy Crunch is a creative take on the standard fast food burger.
The comfort food-style sandwich will be offered for a limited time at Jimmy John's locations throughout the US.
Unfortunately, New Yorkers like me had to go without the chain's hearty, meat-stacked sandwiches until lately.
In July, the first Jimmy John's restaurant opened in Brooklyn, satisfying many New Yorkers' desires for freshly baked French bread sammies loaded with hand-sliced meats, cheeses, and veggies.
"We are pleased to introduce our brand in the biggest market in the nation and we look forward to continuing to engage with franchisees to accelerate our
expansion plan," said Jimmy John's President in a statement this summer. "Jimmy John's sandwiches and wraps are quite popular throughout the United States, so
we decided to bring that to New York City. It's our sincere goal that this will be the first of many successful Jimmy John's restaurants to open in the Big Apple."
