McDonald's Is Launching a New Chicken Nugget

In response to Chick-fil-A, McDonald's will try plant-based chicken nuggets and a cauliflower sandwich next week, on February 22, 2023.

McDonald's started selling McPlant burgers in 2020, and now it's trying out chicken-free "chicken" McPlant Nuggets to add to its menu.

Do you want to see how the nuggets compare to the real deal? For now, their organic method allows a plane ticket. Europe McDonald's nugget test starts next week.

Europe prefers plant-based foods. In 2021, the McPlant burger was quietly removed off the U.S. menu, probably due to poor sales. Europe and the UK still serve it.

Co-created with Beyond Meat, McPlant nuggets will be made of peas, maize, and wheat, with a tempura batter to give them a crunchy texture.

Expecting them in the United States? German testing decides on everything. If the McPlant burger is popular, McDonald's may try it out in the U.S.

McDonald's goals for being environmentally responsible have changed recently, so 2023 or 2024 is a possibility.
