For good reason, McDonald's breakfast items are as iconic as the Big Mac and Chicken McNuggets.

McDonald's still outperforms the industry with 25% of its U.S. sales coming from breakfast, but rivals want a bigger share of the fast-food breakfast market.

Wendy's launched a nationwide breakfast menu in 2020, & Taco Bell saw a promising increase in breakfast sales in the final quarter of 2022 thanks to a marketing partnership with comedian Pete Davidson.

McDonald's is unwilling to rest on its laurels in the fast-food breakfast warfare. In some US locations, McDonald's has apparently started offering a value-focused breakfast package.

McDonald's breakfast items can be mixed and matched in the deal. Customers can choose two things from the restricted menu for $3:

A warm buttermilk biscuit topped with real butter and a sizzling sausage patty pressed together and served sandwich-style.

Sausage Biscuit

A grilled sausage patty and melted American cheese on top of an English muffin that has been toasted.

Sausage McMuffin

Wrapped in a pliable tortilla and stuffed with fluffy scrambled eggs, pork sausage, cheese, green chiles, and onion.

Sausage Burrito

Shredded hash brown patties with a fluffy inside and crispy outside.
