Follow the directions on the back of your chocolate chip bag or buy frozen, oven-ready cookies from Nestle Toll House.

Nestle's new delivery service brings home-baked memories. Warm cookies may arrive.

The startup teamed with delivery-only brand Nextbite and independent restaurant partners to sell cookies on UberEats, GrubHub, and DoorDash.

Chocolate chip, peanut butter chocolate chip, white chocolate chip and macadamia nut, pecan turtle, snickerdoodle, and sugar are available.

Delivery is presently accessible in seven markets: Washington, D.C.; Dallas and Sugar Land, Texas; Amherst, N.Y.; Downer's Grove, Ill.; Louisville, Ky.; or Tampa, Fla.

A package of 6 cookies costs between $11.50 and $12.50, or $2 to $2.35 each cookie.

Toll House cookies are based on the original chocolate chip cookies produced at the Toll House Inn in Whitman, Mass. They debuted in the early 1930s.

Nestle reportedly asked Wakefield for her recipe in 1939 and she sold it for a dollar.

This acquisition made Toll House famous for years. Nestle's Toll House Cafe, an 85-location cookie franchise, was sold to Fat Brands.
