Taco Bell lovers have had a rough week. The restaurant business shocked and outraged loyal customers by announcing that the Quesarito will be removed off menus in April.
Several Taco Bell fans were excited to see various new and returning menu items, but they were disappointed when the prices were significantly more than expected.
Taco Bell's Volcano Menu, which includes the Volcano Burrito, Volcano Taco, and Lava Sauce, will return this summer. Taco Bell Rewards Members may order these products early on June 27.
According to the statement, Taco Bell launched its Volcano Menu in 1995. To promote Congo, the company produced a Volcano Burrito.
Taco Bell's Volcano Burrito, bright-red Volcano Taco, and Volcano Nachos were on the menu from 2008 to 2013.
Consumers called Lava Sauce one of the hottest sauces in the industry throughout the run. In 2015, Taco Bell revived the sauce on the Volcano Quesarito.
Fans miss the Volcano Menu after its discontinuation. Consumers have initiated petitions and intense social media campaigns for another release. Taco Bell has noticed.
"The menu, famed for its hot spices, has created a cult-like following who have fiercely championed its return," Taco Bell stated in the announcement.
Customers are thrilled to set the date for the Volcano Menu reunion. "The reintroduction of the Volcano Menu is the best news of the decade," a fan tweeted yesterday.
Participating establishments countrywide will offer the menu items while supplies last. Taco Bell promised additional details before the spectacular comeback.
"Fans may expect additional announcements leading up to its arrival this summer," the company announced.
