"Let's have coffee at Taco Bell," no one says. Tacos? Obvi. Nachos? yes But java? Sell coffee? Coffee & tacos?

Coffee and tacos go together like peanut butter and jelly, according to Taco Bell.

The chain serves premium hot coffee, ordinary iced coffee, and iced cinnamon coffee along with Cherry Bliss Freeze, Baja Blast, and Pepsi taco-drink combos.

Taco Bell is testing three new iced coffee tastes in Fresno, Calif., and Philadelphia, Pa.

The chain mixes its premium roast coffee with Dulce de Leche, Mexican Chocolate Mocha, and Sweet Vanilla. The new coffees are $2.99 for a large.

While Taco Bell's coffee innovation lagged behind its competitors, the brand looks to be attempting to improve its game with breakfast, which has become a crucial component of the fast-food sector.

Lunch traffic at fast-food businesses fell by 3% from January to August 2022, although breakfast traffic rose by 2%. Coffee is essential to a healthy morning, and Taco Bell is trying to compete.

Breakfast at Taco Bell includes Cinnabon Delights, breakfast quesadillas, and breakfast burritos.

The chain hasn't said when it will spread the new coffee nationally, but we're hopeful.
