Trump Credits McDonald's Fries For His Hair

The president believes McDonald's French Fries are why he still has hair.

Trump tweeted on Wednesday that McDonald's salty side is why he hasn't gone bald.

Trump was replying to a 2018 tweet from Ari Fleischer, who blasted an ABC story stating a chemical in McDonald's fries may treat baldness.

"It doesn't work," Trump tweeted. "No surprise I didn't lose my hair!" Tweet has over 75,000 likes and 14,000 retweets.

A chemical used to McDonald's frying oil to minimise foaming was studied in the tweet. The chemical grew hair in mice, say scientists.

This approach of creating "hair follicle germs" hadn't been tested on human skin cells.

McDonald's declined to respond, and no additional scientific investigations appear to have been done. Whether Trump's hair has benefited from McDonald's fries is unknown.

Trump's hair is constantly discussed online. During the epidemic, he was observed with "natural grey hair." This photo was taken in July as he left a Rose Garden briefing.

Recently, it was revealed that Trump paid $70,000 to arrange his hair for TV appearances.

The president paid $750 in Federal taxes in 2016 and 2017, according to the New York Times.
