Fans will like what Wendy brings out this spring. A letter on Reddit says that Wendy's will get rid of a few menu items this spring to make room for new ones.
The unconfirmed document was posted on Wendy's subreddit, giving a rare early look at changes to the menu.
On March 28, the business might start selling a Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap, a Cobb Salad, and a Blueberry Pomegranate Lemonade.
In the letter, it said that the new foods were "likely to become new customer favourites, bringing fresh, new tastes for the season," but it didn't give any more information.
The message also suggested a "salad-ready chicken project" with grilled chicken that had already been cooked and cut up.
Wendy's used to prefer grilled chicken over already-cooked chicken, so this could mean that they are changing how they make their chicken salad.
The document says that the chicken project would save the company $20–30 million per year and make operations easier.
Wendy's Southwest Avocado Chicken Salad, Sunburst Melon Natural Lemonade, and Grilled Chicken Sandwiches will no longer be available when the new products come out.
One customer really liked the new wrap and lemonade, but he was sad that the grilled chicken sandwiches were no longer available.
Another user said that Wendy's lemonades are "crack," and that the new blueberry pomegranate version is coming soon. Just wait for what the chain says.
