Wendy's will bring back a favourite seasonal treat for fish lovers, vegans, and people who give up meat for Bought later this month.
A spokesman for the chain said that the Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich would be back on February 20. On February 22, the sandwich will be back for Fridays without meat.
Famous Wendy's foods include square-patty hamburgers, fried chicken sandwiches, baked potatoes, and Frostys. But the restaurant has long served fish sandwiches when the fish is in season.
The business said that pollock fillets were a good choice because they were sustainable and had a "similar flavour experience" to cod and Cod is more expensive than pollock.
The Wendy's Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich came in sixth in our 2022 review of 13 fast-food fish sandwiches.
People liked the taste, toppings, and toasted bun of the sandwich, but they didn't like how the fish was dry and the breading was hard.
In 2023, the Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich will again have a panko-breaded pollock fillet, lettuce, American cheese, pickles, and creamy dill tartar sauce.
Wendy's suggested price when it came out in 2022 was $4.29, but prices vary by location and we hope you are waiting for this.
